Steve's Sweet Corn

Aside from Kittleson Brothers, Steve has owned and operated Steve's Sweet Corn for many years. He started the business in 1993 with just a few rows of corn in his Mom's garden. He sold the corn at farmer's markets from the back of his mom's car. The businees then grew into his FFA SAE project.

Today, Steve grows about 11 acres each summer, selling from early July through the beginning of September. Corn is hand picked each morning, hand checked for quality, and sold at a stand in Osage, along with the farmers market in Clear Lake.

The business has grown into what it is today with the help of Steve's wife Beth, children and seasonal employees. When summer is here, you will be sure to find Steve's Sweet Corn stand in Osage filled with fresh corn, and a wide variety of other produce grown by area farmers.
